AAP Aviation is one of the leading global providers of Crew Management Services for the airline industry. Our services include Crew Management, Recruitment, Training and Planning and Scheduling.

AAP Aviation is now looking for a HR Manager with broad experience to take a leading role in building up, and being responsible for, the company’s operations in UK/Ireland. The HR Manager will cooperate closely with the People management team in Scandinavia.


Duties and Responsibilities:   

  • Responsible for compliance according to UK/Irish labour law.   
  • Communication and follow-up with relevant unions, incl. representing the company in union negotiations.
  • Manage and administer all local procedures according to Company policy.  
  • Advise and support employees and management on all areas related to the HR.  
  • Full cycle recruitment both locally and internationally.
  • Onboarding and termination of employment.
  • Responsible for handling disciplinary issues and sick leave processes.  
  • Prepare and complete all daily operational duties within the HR Department.
  • Policy/process development and administration.  
  • Distribute information and documentation to relevant parties, both internally and externally.
  • Follow up on daily administrative routines and making sure deadlines are met.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with our customers and employees.
  • The position involves travelling.

Qualifications and Experience:   

  • Preferably a master’s degree within HR or organisational psychology. Minimum a bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related fields. 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within HR.  
  • Experience with union communication/negotiations.
  • Experience with long term sick leave, rehabilitation and work environmental issues.  
  • Preferably experience in international employee administration  
  • Strong verbal and written in English.
