AAP Aviation and Pilot Flight Academy are now looking for a Financial Controller that will work out of the AAP Aviation Headquarters by the Oslo Fjord at Lysaker.

The Financial Controller will work approximately 50% for each company, and will work closely with, and report to Business Controller and CFO of AAP Aviation.

Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Own and further develop processes for controlling income, cost of goods, sales and administrative costs, as well as investments
  • Ensure quality in profit and loss statements at country, departmental and business area level 
  • Own and coordinate month-ends for Pilot Flight Academy and AAP Aviation 
  • Responsibility for an appropriate reporting structure 
  • Responsibility for optimizing processes in the finance function 
  • Ongoing support to other business controllers and business partners – professional and procedural support, sparring and guidance. 
  • Attend to projects and ongoing analysis and development tasks  

Qualifications and Experience:  

  • Higher education in economics, accounting or auditing 
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in controlling or auditing 
  • Good skills in Excel and PowerPoint, as well as interest in working with PowerBi 
  • Good ability to present orally and in writing in Norwegian and English 
  • The right to live and work in Norway
